Kelly R/C Airfield is a remote-control (R/C) flying field located near Avondale, Louisiana, on Avondale Garden Road. The facility is dedicated to model aviation, providing a space for hobbyists to fly radio-controlled aircraft. It serves as a designated area for R/C pilots to practice and compete, with a focus on safety and community engagement.

The airfield offers basic amenities, including restrooms for visitors. As a specialized venue, it caters to model aircraft enthusiasts, though specific operating hours or membership details are not publicly listed. The field’s location and purpose suggest it may be best suited for experienced R/C flyers familiar with local regulations. Visitors should confirm access policies and any required permissions before arriving, as uncontrolled access could pose risks to both pilots and aircraft.

For those planning a visit, the airfield has received high ratings from a small number of reviewers, indicating a positive experience for those who use it. Contact information for the field is limited, so checking with local R/C flying clubs or the Louisiana Aviation Association may provide additional guidance.
